Free Summer Meals
Kids Cafe Summer Meal Program
Utah Food Bank is proud to again sponsor the USDA’s Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), which builds on our Kids Cafe initiative. From June 2 through August 8, this program will provide free meals to youth ages 18 and under.
Utah Food Bank sponsors three types of meal sites. At all sites, youth must be present to receive meals:
- Open Sites: Open to all youth in the community. Meals must be eaten on-site.
- Closed Enrolled Sites: Available only to youth enrolled in specific summer programs. Meals must be eaten on-site.
- Multi-Day Meal Sites: Located in rural areas and open once per week. These sites provide meal kit boxes (7 breakfasts + 7 lunches). Meals do not need to be eaten on-site, but children must be present to receive a box.
