Before senior food boxes are built and filled with food, we offer an opportunity to volunteers to decorate the boxes to help brighten the recipient’s day when they receive it. All ages are welcome to participate, but this is a great service opportunity for children who are not old enough for our other volunteer opportunities.
Depending on availability, 20 or 40 boxes may be checked out from the Volunteer Desk. We do not give service credit for box decorating to students who are at least 12 years of age and need service hours for school (unless they decorate the boxes on-site). We will provide general decorating guidelines upon box check-out.
