This statewide food drive will help provide food to the estimated 415,000 Utahns who face hunger—many of whom are still struggling to feed their families due to inflation and high housing costs. Even more alarming is that 1 in 6 Utah kids are unsure where their next meal will come from.

Residents across the state will receive door hangers during the week leading up to the food drive, and Utah Food Bank asks those able to support the effort to place non-perishable food donations outside their door by 9 AM on Saturday, March 14.

Volunteers, including those from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will go door-to-door to pick up the food, consolidate it into large vehicles, and deliver it to various drop-off sites across the state, including Utah Food Bank’s warehouses in Salt Lake, St. George, Springville and Blanding, participating partner locations, and all Macey’s Grocery, Lee’s Marketplace, and Lin’s locations in Utah.
