UFB Donation Match

Double the Hope for 2026

As we close out 2025, the challenges facing Utah families have never been clearer. Record-high housing costs, and rising grocery prices continue to strain household budgets across the state. More and more Utahns—many working multiple jobs—are finding it increasingly difficult to keep up. And when rent, childcare, medical costs, and transportation absorb every dollar, food is often the first thing families go without.

But this holiday season, you have the power to make an immediate and meaningful difference, and right now that impact can go twice as far!

We’re honored to share that from December 27 through December 31, the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation will match every online donation to Utah Food Bank—up to $100,000 in total. With this generous matching opportunity, every $10 donated will provide $145 worth of goods and services to Utahns facing hunger. In a year when demand for food assistance continues climbing across both urban and rural communities, your support has never been more critical.

From booming rental costs in places like Utah County and Washington County to grocery inflation outpacing wages statewide, the need for food assistance has remained at the elevated levels that started during the pandemic. Your compassion can be the lifeline that helps a family stay afloat.

When you participate in this matching gift challenge, you’re not just doubling your donation—you’re doubling the hope and stability we can offer going into 2026.

How You Can Help

Time is limited—the matching opportunity ends at midnight on December 31.
