Your Kindness Is TRIPLED This Giving Tuesday.

As we step into Giving Tuesday, we’re inviting Utahns to join us in a day dedicated to generosity and community support. What began in 2012 as a global call to give back has grown into one of the largest giving days in the world—and we’re grateful to be part of it each year.

This year your impact can stretch even further! Thanks to an anonymous donor, every contribution made on Giving Tuesday will be matched—dollar for dollar—up to a total of $85,000. Because we typically turn every $1 into $7.23 worth of goods and services, this match means a $10 gift could provide the equivalent of $217 in food and resources for Utahns facing hunger. Any donation made at UtahFoodBank.org/GivingTuesday2025 will be matched.

The need for food assistance throughout Utah remains significant. Right now, 1 in 5 Utah children will likely miss a meal today due to lack of resources, and 445,000 Utahns are unsure where their next meal will come from. Rising living costs, inflation, and lingering effects from the recent federal government shutdown and temporary SNAP suspension continue to put pressure on families statewide.

Last year, we distributed 69.6 million pounds of food and goods—the equivalent of more than 58 million meals—through our network of 309 emergency food pantries and partner agencies across Utah. This statewide reach ensures that food assistance is available in every corner of our state.
