Eagle Scout Projects

There are specific food collection and volunteer requirements to complete your Eagle Scout Project with Utah Food Bank

Eagle Scout Workbook
Planning a project takes time—please plan ahead of time to thoroughly review the requirements and schedule meetings with the Volunteer Coordinator. It is the responsibility of the potential Eagle Scout (not the parent) to contact and coordinate with a Volunteer Coordinator to organize a project. To allow enough time for the approval process, you must complete all the requirements 2 weeks prior to your 18th birthday. Please click here to download our Eagle Scout Workbook, which contains project requirements and the answers to frequently asked questions. Once you have reviewed the workbook, please write up your project proposal, which you can find in your Boy Scouts of America Eagle Scout Service Project Workbook.

Once your Eagle Scout Service Project Proposal is complete, you must make an appointment to have the proposal approved in-person by a Utah Food Bank representative as the designated beneficiary. To schedule this appointment, please contact our Volunteer Department at (801) 887-1234 or volunteerinfo@utahfoodbank.org.
