Services for Seniors

Services for Seniors provides free, monthly food assistance to help low-income senior citizens. Each box contains about a week's worth of non-perishable food and is delivered along with milk and fresh produce when available. Currently, food boxes are delivered to 2,600 qualifying senior clients in Salt Lake County. The food box deliveries provide not only nourishment for the body but also a kind visit that warms the heart. Eligibility guidelines for food assistance are listed below. Food Assistance Eligibility:

Income Limits: 1 person, $1,354 a month
2 persons, $1,821 a month
60+ years old, or younger for persons with disabilities
Unable to easily access food
Does not have access to a vehicle
Does not have able bodied persons living in the home
